MAINTENANCECOST5. Maintenance Cost? John Harper, please share your analyses of paved road costs with the group; I have not been able to locate them. And Susan, I think one of your emails said you are now Treasurer? If so, please share expense experience data for the past 10 years or so with us and separate the paved road expenses from the dirt road maintenance; Diana just lumped pave road and dirt road maintenance under a single item in her Treasurer's reports. People seem to think that we can just pave and forget for 10-20 years but that is not the case. Also, please note that if there are 10 owners paying $5000 each, that would cover 10 years of dues for snow plow and dirt road maintenance, etc. for each of you. And I suspect that $500 per year is not enough to cover paved road maintenance. |
